How the score is worked out
The calculator combines the two names into a single string, then runs them through a simple, stable hash function. The hash turns the letters into a number, which is mapped to a 0-100% score. Because the same input always hashes to the same value, you'll always get the same result for the same pair - there's no randomness involved.
It's a bit of fun, the same way the playground "FLAMES" game was. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere; it all runs in your browser.

A lower number from a name game means nothing at all. Plenty of great relationships would "fail" this test - it's purely for laughs.
